Last Day in Year 1

It was my last day with my Year 1 kiddos today!! It was bittersweet because I'm staying at St. Joseph's so I'll still see them, but I'm definitely going to miss being with all 30 of them everyday. I definitely connected with them over the last six weeks, they are just so sweet and innocent as 5/6 year olds!!

Here's my last daily schedule I'll put up on the white board. You better believe they would remind me if I ever forgot to go over our schedule or put up the daily monitors for register, fruit, and book bags!

Here's the class right after PE today (as you can see having a hard time looking at the camera and acting rather silly)!!

I had a very nice last day...the other Y1 teacher and Y2 teachers got me a gift to say thank-you for all the help with transitioning in so quickly, with no official handover to the classroom, AND a few of the students got me some chocolates. It was very sweet and I felt honored as I hadn't really been there for that long of a time!
