On the Saturday before I left to head back to the US, we decided to venture from Windsor to central London taking the Overground train, the National Rail, which would be similar to Chicago’s Metra Train. It was about a 55 minute commute and brought us right to Waterloo Train Station, which was just blocks from some of London’s popular landmarks. We walked for miles and really tried to just take everything in, we got some pictures of the landmarks, but am sure there will be many more!!

"Big Ben"
You will love this story...after all these years, Chris finally tells me that apparently he was nicknamed “Big Ben” as a BETA pledge and had to know the time whenever asked and in return had to say….”BONG…BONG…BONG…the time is…”, I clearly didn’t ask any more questions about that one. However, the lesson learned being that I had to come all the way to London to even hear this story!

Chris was very adamant about getting a picture behind the gates of Buckingham Palace.
Although, he doesn't look too happy, does he??!!
