Richmond Park

When we were looking at places to live in London, our re-location agent told us about this really huge park in the area of Richmond (which is almost where we ended up living). We finally had a chance to go check it out and decided to spend the day at the park, which included renting some bikes!!

Richmond Park is the largest Royal Park in London (almost 2,500 acres). It is very different than your typical green grass park, instead it is made up of hills, woodlands, ponds, grasslands and really old oak trees!

Since the park is SO big, it was really nice to be on bikes since we were able to ride all around the park and through the grasslands, we kind of just made up our own path!!

Then along one of our paths, we came along these guys...

yes, loads of deer!!!

The park is actually famous for its deer and is home to over 650 free range deer!

Where is this guy headed to??

He doesn't seem to notice anyone else around...

then he got his friends to join him for a walk down the road!!
