On Saturday, I still had a lot of school work to do getting ready for end of year reports/assessments, etc, yes no fun!! We decided to sit in our backyard "garden" and enjoy the warmth and sunshine for once (Chris got to "layout" while I graded). We did get to have a picnic too!
Later than evening we headed over to our American friends' house, the Pacurar's, and enjoyed some fireworks with them...it definitely felt like home!
We actually had to walk to a local park for a bigger space to let off the grand finale...Mike means serious business when he does his firework show!! I can't imagine what he puts on back in the USA!!
On Sunday, Chris went to the JayZ concert in Hyde Park with our friends!! They didn't actually have tickets, because the concert was sold out, so they planned to sit inside the park and could hear the entire concert!! It is honestly a great way to do it, spread yourself out and get out your drinks!! He had a great time!
