Mail Interception

We can't believe it, we have received a package that was sent to our apartment, well almost received...keep reading!!

Looks like a lovely package, right?!...Royal Mail...addressed to me and someone from the UK, lots of excitement here!!

So, I opened the package from one of my London gals, who I'll call Sue.  Sue had put a card for Cayden in the package as well as a book for him.  She also put a birthday card in there for me, so as I'm reading this card from Sue she's saying that she wanted to send me a few of my favorite "treats" like some bronzing lotion (she said for my white legs), some nail varnish (polish) and lip gloss (to help me feel pretty) and some magnets for my new refrigerator (because I always had magnets all over our refrigerator in London with pictures of all our friends' babies)!!

Ok, so now I'm confused by Sue's card as the package contents only included Cayden's book and the 2 cards.  You can see the package is not that big, so in awe and confusion I kept looking in the package, feeling around (not sure why as I couldn't SEE anything in the package) and looking inside the book and card envelopes.  Also keep in mind, the package did not look tampered with or had any evidence of being previously opened.

Eventually after much frustration, now disappointment and some sense of privacy violation (if in fact what I thought happened did happen), I called Sue.  She quickly told me that YES everything she wrote in the card she put in the package, sealed it up and sent it out!!

So, what the heck happened?

Either--
a.) the KGB (the Soviet Committee of State Security) now known as the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation) blocked the package and confiscated the contents, which mind you would include opening it and removing all the things except for Cayden's book and the 2 cards

OR

b.) a worker at a Russian post office stole the contents in the package again leaving the book and 2 cards remaining

Whatever did actually happen, I'm confident that one of the above did in fact happen!!  Seriously??
It had to be the 1st package we received too!

What total disappointment with a complete feeling of violation!!!
