Westforth Travels: Christmas Break ~ Part 2

Here's a glimpse of our second week of our home trip!!! The whole two weeks went by way too fast!!

The first stop was over to Grandma Westforth's for another visit!

Zane sure loves his Uncle Chris, I think he might even grow up to be as tall as him!

Zane also loves to tackle his Uncle Chris with all his football "moves", which seems to be his favorite sport and he can even tell you who is playing who and knows the names of all the NFL teams including the city they are from!

Zane also loves his great-Grandma Westforth and she sure loves his hugs!

Then we were off to another visit over at the Hardel's to see Uncle Tom, Aunt Ruth, Taylor, & Paige!

Zane is definitely excited to see the girls, lots of hugs for them too!

Now it's time for Zane to give Taylor and Paige their presents...Wendy told us he went to Bath & Body Works and picked everything out for them himself!

Taylor is smiling...I think she likes what he got her!!

An eye pillow too...he must know Taylor likes to sleep in!!

Let me say that I love, love, love going to Aunt Ruthie's house for Christmas, not just because of the good company, but she does such an awesome job decorating for the holidays!!

{Monday Night Football in Chicago}

We finally got to see our Chicago friends for dinner, drinks, and some football!! It was good catching up with everyone, but again not enough time and the night went by way too fast!!

{519 Fess Party at the Narkiewicz's}

Bethany and Allen hosted a great dinner party for the 519 gang (which is the ladies from IU that lived in the blue house located at 519 N. Fess). It was so great that we were able to get this group of people together and we're hoping we can make it an annual tradition!! Good times!!

We also decided to do a little white elephant/grab bag...it got interesting as we included the guys too!! Most of the guys even did their own shopping, which was pretty impressive and it seemed that those gifts were a hit!

Allen's gift, which was purchased by Chris and was a London theme that included a London shot glass, coffee mug, coasters, and the ever-popular pink "I Love London" t-shirt!

John's gift is the Ove Glove (can you really put your hand in a fire with that on??)

and even better, it's leopard print (purchased specially by Lindsey, I think she even had to special order it...I sure haven't seen that print in Walgreens)!!

John's helping him get it on, it fits perfect, and he's even sitting back down with a drink in hand!!

Monica's turn....what did she get...oh, a Chipolte gift card!!! Too funny because Monica does NOT like Chipolte, so it was hilarious as she was the last person to pick a gift and that was the last gift!

Here she is hysterical and telling us..."Who knew that I hate Chipolte?"

The Narkiewicz family with their new gifts (Allen did end up with the London gear and Bethany ended up with the Cubs scarf that she stole from Chris in return giving him back the leopard print Snuggie, which is now in London)!

{A Visit with Friends in Illinois}

As we made our way up to Vernon Hills, to visit our old stomping grounds and to take care of a few matters, we were able to see some of our friends in the burbs!! We got to see the Norton's and William just turned one in December, and is getting so big. We also got to visit with one of my good friends, Finch, from my very first job in 2002. It was great to catch up with him and it's crazy that's it's almost been 8 years that we have known each other, which would also mean how many years I've been out of college:( . I'm not sure where my camera was while we were at the Norton's...so I'm bummed I don't have any pictures!!

Then we headed over to the Bellew's to see Brad, Jaime, Tyler, Hailey!!

This picture is hilarious to me because Brad and Jaime were telling the kids that they are not allowed to be sitting on the kitchen table and I'm saying oh, it's okay, it's just us BUT it looks like Hailey is telling Chris that yes she can sit on the table and Tyler is telling mom and dad that yes he can sit on the table too!
