Today is a Russian public holiday-Defender's of the Fatherland Day. It marks the first mass draft into the Red Army and celebrates military veterans. Since service is compulsory here for all men, it's become a sort of men's day and the counterpart of International Women's Day which is March 8th.
All Chris kept saying was Thursday was Man's Day and that he would be getting the day off work. Well we sure like when he has the day off...Cayden and I got to enjoy some extra Chris/daddy time and we even all had dinner together at a reasonable time (which I might add was delicious and a joint effort)!! We like this Man's Day!!
